Software made to be useful

DeLong Works is an independent software studio founded by Mathew DeLong. It exists to make useful, approachable software that people can enjoy using, rather than software designed mainly to extract more money from them.

Why DeLong Works exists

I have always wanted to build my own products. Making something that solves a real problem, feels easy to use, and earns a place in someone’s day is the work I find most rewarding. DeLong Works is where I do that.

The studio currently makes apps for iPhone and iPad, but DeLong Works is not limited to a particular platform or kind of software.

Simple, straightforward pricing

Current products are offered as a one-time purchase, free to use, or free with ads and an optional one-time purchase to remove them. Each product page explains the model for that app. There are no DeLong Works subscriptions today.

Local by default

Current DeLong Works apps do not require an account and do not send app content to DeLong Works servers. Your data generally stays on your device, where I cannot access it. If you delete an app, its locally stored data is also deleted unless you exported it first.
